From across the room, Twist reads as a gently moving outline. Up close, the shade resolves into fine diagonal ribs. Those two scales of detail are the center of the design: enough shape to hold a space, enough texture to invite a closer look.
Read the outline first.
The main profile moves gradually between wider and narrower sections. It is a continuous shade, with an open top and a turning silhouette. Look at it without the fine surface detail and the gesture is still there.
This is why the actual model matters. A generic spiral lamp could share a name with Twist while having a completely different character. The product gallery uses renders of the current shade, and the optional 3D study is exported from that geometry.
Then follow the surface.
The ribs introduce another direction across the larger form. They catch highlights and create small areas of shadow in the renders, making the shape read differently as the viewpoint changes. You can examine that relationship by rotating the shade and looking across the surface rather than straight at it.
The viewer uses a neutral, illustrative material. It helps explain geometry, not final material, translucency, finish or manufacturing tolerances. Those qualities need to be established with the physical product.
A model is one part of a lamp.
The shade model measures approximately 18 cm high and 12.1 cm at its maximum width. Those are model measurements, not the assembled dimensions of a complete lamp. The base adds its own proportion, and the lighting components will determine how the object behaves when illuminated.
Twist is intended to be offered as a complete lamp with a light source and cord. The base and light in the existing images are development concepts. Keeping that distinction visible lets the design be explored now, while leaving room for the finished object to supply the final answers.
